How do I create a Stripe account?
Canopy seamlessly integrates with Stripe to process credit card transactions.
To create a Stripe account in Canopy, go to the Billing section and click either of the two options (listed below) to get started.
Click on LEARN MORE.
Within Billing, click on the sprocket icon and go to 'Integrations'.
When creating a payment, click on LEARN MORE next to the payment method.
After clicking on one of the options, you'll need to 'Connect with Stripe' to complete Stripe's online application.
After filling out Stripe's single page application, authorize Stripe to have access to your Canopy account.
With an authorized Stripe account, your client's can make payments online in Canopy's client portal. You can also process credit card payments directly in Canopy. You do not need to log in to Stripe to process payments.
