Within Canopy, you can create custom workflows and steps for common tasks within your firm. Anything from bookkeeping to tax planning can be broken down into steps and implemented through Canopy.
To begin, navigate to the 'Global Settings' within canopy (the arrow next to your name on the top right of the screen):
Along the left-hand navigation menu, select 'Service Templates'
Create a Custom Service
To create a custom service, select 'Add a Custom Service'
Choose a name and description for the service:
Once you have chosen a name and description, you can start adding steps by selecting 'Add a Step':
Name each step, and give it a description:
Once a step is created, you can upload workpapers that will appear each time a step is accessed.
Once all of the steps have been created, and any papers attached, you can enable the service template in future engagements.
To do that, add the service template when creating an engagement.
You can also add it to an existing engagement by accessing the Services option in the engagement navigation:
